Refund Policy
Last updated: Junary 2026
This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions applicable to returns, refunds, cancellations, exchanges, damaged products, incorrect orders, and pre-orders purchased through MarketCG, available at marketcg.com.
MarketCG is operated by NONCHO, a company registered in France and primarily serving customers located in the United States.
By placing an order through MarketCG, you acknowledge and agree to the conditions described in this Policy, subject to any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
1. Our 14-Day Return Policy
Unless a product is specifically identified as non-returnable or final sale before purchase, MarketCG generally accepts eligible return requests submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery.
This 14-day return period is a commercial return policy offered by MarketCG and is subject to the eligibility requirements described below.
Submitting a return request does not automatically guarantee that the return or refund will be approved.
All returned products are subject to inspection.
2. Return Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a standard return, the product must generally be:
- unopened;
- unused;
- factory-sealed where originally supplied sealed;
- complete;
- undamaged;
- unaltered;
- free from tampering;
- in its original packaging;
- in substantially the same condition in which it was delivered;
- suitable for resale as a new collectible product.
The customer must also be able to provide reasonable proof of purchase from MarketCG.
Order numbers, confirmation emails, or other MarketCG transaction records may be used to verify the purchase.
3. Special Nature of Trading Card Products
MarketCG primarily sells Trading Card Game ("TCG") products and collectibles, including products containing randomized contents.
These may include:
- booster packs;
- booster boxes;
- display boxes;
- sealed cases;
- collection boxes;
- tins;
- bundles;
- premium collections;
- special sets;
- limited editions;
- promotional products;
- other randomized collectible products.
The factory-sealed condition of these products may represent a substantial portion of their collectible and resale value.
Once a sealed TCG product has been opened, the randomized contents become known and the original collectible condition of the product cannot ordinarily be restored.
For this reason, customers should not open any sealed product that they intend to return.
4. Opened Trading Card Products
Except where otherwise required by applicable law, MarketCG does not accept discretionary returns based on a change of mind for trading card products that have been:
- opened;
- unsealed;
- partially opened;
- tampered with;
- resealed;
- used;
- altered after delivery.
This applies regardless of the cards or collectible contents obtained after opening the product.
For example, a customer may not open booster packs or boxes, determine that the contents or pulls are undesirable, and then return the opened product because of dissatisfaction with those randomized contents.
5. Randomized Contents Are Not Grounds for a Refund
Trading card products frequently contain randomly selected cards.
MarketCG does not guarantee any particular:
- card;
- rarity;
- pull rate;
- hit rate;
- chase card;
- serialized card;
- autograph;
- special illustration;
- monetary value;
- resale value;
- grading result;
- collecting outcome.
Receiving cards that are less valuable, less rare, or otherwise different from what a customer hoped to receive does not mean that the product is defective.
No refund will be issued solely because the customer is dissatisfied with the randomized contents of a correctly supplied product.
6. Products That Are Generally Non-Returnable
Subject to applicable law, MarketCG may refuse returns for:
- opened booster packs;
- opened booster boxes;
- opened displays;
- opened collection boxes;
- opened tins;
- opened cases;
- products with broken factory seals;
- products showing evidence of tampering;
- products damaged after delivery by the customer;
- incomplete products;
- products returned without essential original packaging;
- products materially altered after delivery;
- digital products where applicable;
- redeemed codes;
- redeemed promotional products;
- complimentary promotional items supplied subject to specific conditions;
- products clearly identified as Final Sale before purchase.
This does not remove mandatory rights relating to goods that were defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise legally non-conforming when supplied.
7. Final Sale Products
Certain products may occasionally be offered on a Final Sale basis.
Where applicable, the Final Sale status should be clearly disclosed on the relevant product page, checkout, or other purchase information before the order is completed.
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, Final Sale products are not eligible for discretionary return, exchange, or refund because the customer changed their mind.
A Final Sale designation does not allow MarketCG to disregard mandatory rights concerning defective, incorrect, fraudulent, or legally non-conforming merchandise.
For U.S. customers, state-specific rules may apply to how restrictive refund conditions must be disclosed. California, for example, requires qualifying restrictive refund policies to be conspicuously disclosed and to explain the applicable conditions.
8. How to Request a Return
Before returning any product, contact MarketCG at:
Your request should include:
- your full name;
- your MarketCG order number;
- the email address used for the order;
- the product you wish to return;
- the reason for the return;
- photographs where relevant.
MarketCG may provide return instructions or a return authorization after reviewing the request.
9. Do Not Return Products Without Authorization
Customers should not send merchandise back without first contacting MarketCG.
The registered address of NONCHO is not necessarily the address of the warehouse or facility responsible for processing customer returns.
Products sent to an incorrect address may experience significant delays or may be impossible to process.
An unauthorized return does not guarantee a refund.
Always follow the return instructions supplied by MarketCG.
10. Return Address
The applicable return address may vary depending on:
- the customer's location;
- the fulfillment facility;
- the product;
- the original shipping location;
- the logistics provider.
MarketCG will provide the appropriate return instructions after approving an eligible return request.
Do not automatically send returns to NONCHO's registered office unless MarketCG specifically instructs you to do so.
11. Return Shipping Costs
For ordinary returns resulting from a customer's change of mind, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs unless MarketCG expressly agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.
Return shipping expenses are generally not reimbursed for discretionary returns.
If MarketCG confirms that the return is necessary because we supplied an incorrect product or because of another error attributable to MarketCG, we will provide an appropriate resolution and may cover reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.
12. Recommended Return Shipping
Customers returning collectible products should use appropriate packaging capable of protecting the merchandise during transportation.
Where appropriate for the value of the order, we recommend using a shipping method that includes:
- tracking;
- delivery confirmation;
- sufficient insurance;
- adequate protective packaging.
Customers should retain proof of return shipment until the return has been completed.
MarketCG cannot guarantee reimbursement for a return parcel that never reaches the designated return facility where the transportation risk legally remains with the customer.
13. Condition of Returned Packages
Customers are responsible for packaging returned goods appropriately.
TCG products can lose significant value because of:
- crushed corners;
- torn shrink wrap;
- broken seals;
- water damage;
- crushing;
- punctures;
- improper packaging;
- labels attached directly to collectible packaging.
Do not attach shipping labels, adhesive tape, or postage directly to the retail packaging of a collectible product unless specifically instructed to do so.
Use an appropriate external shipping box.
14. Inspection of Returned Products
All returns may be inspected after receipt.
MarketCG may verify:
- product identity;
- product quantity;
- serial or identifying information where applicable;
- shrink-wrap condition;
- seal integrity;
- external packaging condition;
- completeness;
- evidence of opening;
- evidence of use;
- evidence of tampering;
- evidence of substitution;
- whether the returned product corresponds to the product originally supplied.
Inspection may take a reasonable amount of time depending on the nature and volume of the return.
15. Return Fraud and Product Substitution
MarketCG may refuse a return where there is reasonable evidence that the customer has:
- returned a different product;
- substituted the original product;
- removed products or components;
- opened and resealed merchandise;
- altered factory packaging;
- intentionally damaged the product;
- submitted falsified photographs;
- made materially false statements concerning the condition of the product.
MarketCG may maintain reasonable records, photographs, fulfillment information, parcel weight information, and other documentation for the purposes of fraud prevention and dispute resolution.
Nothing in this section limits legitimate customer rights.
16. Refund Approval
After an eligible returned product is received and inspected, MarketCG will determine whether the return satisfies the conditions of this Policy.
Customers may be informed whether their refund has been:
- approved;
- partially approved where legally permissible;
- declined;
- placed under additional review.
If the product satisfies the applicable return requirements, the refund will be initiated to an appropriate payment method, generally the payment method originally used for the transaction.
17. Refund Payment Method
Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Depending on the transaction, this may involve:
- Visa;
- Mastercard;
- American Express;
- Shop Pay;
- Apple Pay;
- Klarna;
- another payment provider used during checkout.
MarketCG does not normally issue refunds to an unrelated card, bank account, wallet, or individual.
This helps protect customers and MarketCG against payment fraud.
18. Refund Processing Time
Once MarketCG has submitted an approved refund, additional processing time may be required by:
- Shopify Payments;
- the customer's bank;
- card networks;
- Klarna;
- digital wallet providers;
- other financial institutions.
MarketCG does not control the time required by a customer's bank or payment provider to post a completed refund.
If you receive confirmation that a refund has been issued but do not see the funds after a reasonable period, you should first check with your payment provider and may then contact MarketCG if additional transaction information is required.
19. Original Shipping Charges
For discretionary returns resulting from a change of mind, original shipping charges are generally non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Where the return results from a confirmed MarketCG error, incorrect product, or another situation for which applicable law requires reimbursement of shipping charges, the appropriate shipping amounts will be handled accordingly.
20. Partial Refunds
Where permitted by applicable law, MarketCG may issue a partial rather than full refund when a returned product has suffered a reduction in value caused by the customer.
Examples may include products returned with:
- damaged packaging;
- missing components;
- missing accessories;
- significant cosmetic damage;
- altered wrapping;
- missing promotional contents;
- conditions making the product less valuable than when supplied.
Opened randomized trading card products may instead be entirely ineligible for a discretionary return, as described elsewhere in this Policy.
21. Damaged Products
If your order arrives damaged, contact MarketCG as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Contact:
Please include clear photographs showing:
- the exterior shipping box;
- all visibly damaged sides of the parcel;
- the shipping label;
- internal packaging;
- protective materials;
- the affected product;
- the specific damage being reported.
If possible, do not discard the shipping packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
The 48-hour notification request helps us investigate carrier or fulfillment damage efficiently. It does not eliminate any mandatory legal right that cannot lawfully be waived merely because the customer contacted us later.
22. Do Not Open a Product You Believe Is Damaged
If the exterior packaging of a sealed collectible appears materially damaged and you intend to request a replacement or return, do not open the product before contacting MarketCG whenever reasonably possible.
Opening the product after discovering visible damage may:
- make the damage more difficult to assess;
- affect the collectible condition;
- interfere with a carrier claim;
- make it difficult to distinguish shipping damage from later handling.
Contact MarketCG first and provide photographs.
23. Minor Packaging Imperfections
Trading card products are manufactured, packed, handled, and transported commercially before reaching customers.
Minor cosmetic imperfections may occur.
Depending on the product and circumstances, small imperfections that do not materially affect the contents or reasonable collectible condition of the product may not necessarily constitute product damage requiring replacement.
Examples may potentially include minor:
- surface marks;
- slight corner wear;
- small manufacturing inconsistencies;
- minor shrink-wrap variations.
Each legitimate damage claim will be evaluated based on its individual circumstances.
24. Incorrect Products
If you receive a product different from the one listed in your order, contact:
Please do not open the incorrect product.
Provide photographs clearly showing:
- the product received;
- the product packaging;
- the shipping label where requested;
- your order information.
Once the error has been verified, MarketCG will provide an appropriate solution, which may include replacement or refund depending on availability and applicable law.
25. Missing Items
If your shipment arrives but appears to be missing one or more products, contact MarketCG promptly.
MarketCG may investigate using information including:
- fulfillment records;
- warehouse records;
- package weight;
- carrier information;
- packing information;
- shipment photographs where available;
- inventory records.
Customers may be asked to provide photographs of the package and everything received inside it.
26. Packages Damaged in Transit
Where damage appears to have been caused during shipping, MarketCG may submit a claim with the relevant carrier, logistics provider, fulfillment provider, or insurer.
Customers agree to provide reasonable assistance required for such an investigation.
This may include retaining:
- the parcel;
- shipping materials;
- labels;
- photographs;
- damaged goods.
Customers should not intentionally dispose of evidence after being asked to retain it for an active shipping claim.
27. Lost Packages
If a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, contact MarketCG.
Before issuing a replacement or refund, MarketCG may investigate the shipment with:
- the carrier;
- fulfillment provider;
- postal service;
- shipping insurer.
A carrier investigation may require reasonable processing time.
The appropriate resolution will depend on the circumstances, tracking information, investigation results, and applicable legal requirements.
28. Orders Marked Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows Delivered but you cannot locate your package, first check:
- the delivery address;
- mailbox;
- porch or entrance;
- safe delivery locations;
- parcel lockers;
- reception or front desk;
- other household members;
- neighbors where appropriate.
You should also contact the carrier where appropriate.
If the package remains missing, contact support@marketcg.com.
MarketCG may open a delivery investigation and request additional information before determining the appropriate resolution.
A carrier delivery scan may be considered relevant evidence but does not eliminate any non-waivable customer rights.
29. Stolen Packages
Where tracking confirms delivery to the address supplied by the customer but the package is subsequently reported stolen, MarketCG will review the circumstances.
Depending on the facts, MarketCG may request:
- carrier confirmation;
- delivery photographs;
- written customer confirmation;
- information concerning the delivery location;
- other reasonable evidence.
A replacement or refund is not automatically guaranteed solely because an order is reported missing after confirmed delivery, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
30. Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for checking the shipping address before submitting an order.
If you discover an error, contact MarketCG immediately.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be modified after an order has entered fulfillment.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incomplete or incorrect address, refund or reshipment eligibility will be assessed after the parcel has been returned where appropriate.
Additional shipping costs may apply to reshipment where legally permitted.
31. Refused and Unclaimed Packages
Packages may be returned because they were:
- refused;
- not collected;
- unclaimed;
- undeliverable;
- rejected after delivery attempts.
A refusal of delivery should not automatically be treated as an approved return.
Once the package has been received back and inspected, MarketCG will determine the appropriate refund, if any, according to this Policy and applicable law.
Actual shipping or return costs resulting from a customer's refusal or failure to collect a package may be deducted where legally permitted.
32. Customs Refusals
International shipments, including certain shipments entering the United States, may be subject to customs procedures.
Customers should not intentionally refuse customs charges or import procedures as a substitute for following MarketCG's return process.
If a parcel is returned because the recipient refused an import requirement or customs charge that was properly their responsibility, any refund will be reviewed after the shipment is returned.
Shipping, return, customs, brokerage, or other actual costs may be taken into consideration where legally permitted.
33. Exchanges
Because trading card products can have limited availability and rapidly changing inventory, MarketCG cannot guarantee exchanges.
Where an eligible customer receives a damaged or incorrect product, MarketCG may offer a replacement if suitable inventory is available.
If an exchange cannot reasonably be provided, MarketCG may provide another appropriate remedy, including a refund where applicable.
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, customers may be required to return the original product and place a separate order for the desired product.
34. Replacement Products
Replacement availability depends on current inventory.
Limited-edition, discontinued, sold-out, allocated, and pre-order products may no longer be available at the time a claim is processed.
The availability of a replacement therefore cannot be guaranteed even where a return claim itself is valid.
When replacement is unavailable, another appropriate remedy may be offered.
35. Pre-Orders
Certain MarketCG products may be sold before their official release or before inventory is available for immediate shipment.
These products will generally be identified as Pre-Order, Preorder, or with similar wording.
By submitting a pre-order, you acknowledge that the product is expected to ship at a later date.
36. Pre-Order Payments
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or during checkout, MarketCG may collect payment for a pre-order at the time the order is placed.
Payment may be collected to reserve expected inventory or allocation.
However, supplier and distributor allocations may change, and payment does not guarantee that MarketCG will ultimately receive every unit originally expected.
37. Estimated Pre-Order Dates
Pre-order release dates, expected arrival dates, and shipping estimates are based on information available at the time and may change.
Potential causes of delay include:
- manufacturer delays;
- distributor delays;
- allocation reductions;
- production problems;
- official release-date changes;
- supplier issues;
- logistics disruptions;
- customs processing;
- international transportation delays;
- other events outside MarketCG's reasonable control.
38. Pre-Order Delays
A change in an estimated release date does not automatically entitle a customer to additional compensation.
However, this does not remove cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.
For Internet merchandise sales covered by the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, sellers must have a reasonable basis for advertised shipping periods; where they cannot ship within the required period, the Rule can require the seller to obtain consent to the delay or refund payment for the unshipped merchandise.
MarketCG will therefore handle qualifying U.S. shipping delays in accordance with applicable requirements.
39. Pre-Order Cancellations
Customers may request cancellation of an unshipped pre-order by contacting:
Cancellation requests will be reviewed according to:
- the status of the order;
- whether fulfillment has begun;
- applicable legal requirements;
- payment status;
- other relevant circumstances.
Where applicable law requires cancellation and refund because of a shipping delay or another circumstance, those rights will be respected.
Once the order has shipped, the normal return rules apply.
40. Unable to Fulfill a Pre-Order
Trading card products are frequently subject to manufacturer or distributor allocation.
MarketCG may receive fewer units than expected.
If MarketCG ultimately cannot fulfill a paid pre-order because of:
- insufficient allocation;
- supplier cancellation;
- manufacturer cancellation;
- discontinued product;
- stock shortage;
- another fulfillment problem;
the amount paid for the unavailable merchandise will be refunded.
41. Market Price Changes After Purchase
Trading card products are collectibles whose market prices may rise or fall significantly.
Once an order is validly completed, a subsequent change in market value does not by itself provide grounds for:
- cancellation;
- refund;
- store credit;
- price adjustment.
For example, a customer is not automatically entitled to a refund because the market value of a booster box decreases after purchase.
Likewise, MarketCG will not increase the price of an already completed transaction solely because the collectible increases in value, subject to situations involving obvious pricing errors addressed in our Terms & Conditions.
This provision does not override cancellation rights required by law.
42. Promotions and Discounted Products
Products purchased with a valid discount code or during a promotion may still qualify for return where they otherwise satisfy this Policy, unless the product was clearly designated Final Sale or another specific return condition was disclosed before purchase.
Where a refund is approved, the refund is based on the amount actually paid for the returned product rather than its undiscounted retail price.
Promotional value that was never paid by the customer is not refundable as cash.
43. Bundles
Products sold as a bundle may need to be returned together in order to qualify for a full refund.
If individual components of a bundle are missing, opened, redeemed, used, or retained, the refund may be reduced or denied where permitted by law and consistent with the conditions disclosed for that purchase.
44. Free Gifts and Promotional Items
Where a purchase includes a complimentary product, promotional item, or gift that was conditional on the purchase, MarketCG may require that item to be returned together with the qualifying merchandise.
If a customer keeps, uses, redeems, or opens a promotional item, its value may be taken into consideration when calculating an eligible refund where legally permitted and appropriately disclosed.
45. Cancellation Before Shipment
If you wish to cancel an ordinary order before shipment, contact:
We will attempt to accommodate the request.
However, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once the order has entered:
- processing;
- picking;
- packing;
- fulfillment;
- carrier handoff.
The presence of a Cancel Request does not mean that cancellation has been completed until MarketCG confirms it.
Mandatory rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
46. Orders That Have Already Shipped
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping network, MarketCG generally cannot guarantee cancellation or interception.
Where the customer simply changes their mind after shipment, they may need to wait for delivery and then request an eligible return under this Policy.
Customers should not intentionally reject packages unless instructed by MarketCG, as refusal can create additional shipping and processing costs.
47. Duplicate Orders
Customers should review their checkout carefully before placing multiple orders.
If you accidentally submit a duplicate order, contact MarketCG immediately.
We will attempt to cancel the duplicate transaction if it has not already entered irreversible fulfillment processing.
MarketCG cannot guarantee cancellation after fulfillment has begun.
48. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a genuine problem with an order, please contact support@marketcg.com first so that we can investigate the issue.
Nothing in this Policy prevents a customer from exercising legitimate dispute rights available through a bank, credit card issuer, payment provider, or applicable law.
However, submitting intentionally false or fraudulent chargeback claims may result in MarketCG challenging the dispute using relevant evidence, including:
- order records;
- payment verification;
- tracking records;
- delivery information;
- customer communications;
- fulfillment information;
- refund records.
49. Refund Abuse
MarketCG reserves the right to investigate patterns reasonably suggesting abuse of the return or refund process.
Examples may include:
- repeated false damage claims;
- deliberate product substitution;
- repeated claims of non-receipt inconsistent with delivery information;
- returning opened products as unopened;
- attempting to return counterfeit or unrelated merchandise;
- manipulating packaging to create a fraudulent claim.
MarketCG may restrict future transactions where reasonably necessary to protect against fraud.
Legitimate customers exercising valid legal rights will not be penalized merely for making a genuine return or refund request.
50. Consumer Protection Rights
This Policy establishes MarketCG's general commercial return and refund rules.
It does not eliminate, restrict, or replace consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Depending on where you live, applicable federal or state law may provide additional rights concerning:
- defective goods;
- incorrect merchandise;
- misleading descriptions;
- shipping delays;
- unauthorized transactions;
- refund-policy disclosure;
- other consumer matters.
Where a mandatory law conflicts with a provision of this Policy, the mandatory law will apply to the extent required.
51. United States Customers
MarketCG primarily serves customers located in the United States.
Because consumer protection rules may differ among U.S. states, certain customers may have rights beyond the voluntary protections described in this Policy.
MarketCG intends to apply this Policy consistently while respecting mandatory federal and state requirements.
In particular, U.S. Internet orders may be subject to federal requirements concerning promised shipping times, shipping delays, cancellation, and refunds.
52. Refund Policy Disclosure
MarketCG intends to make this Refund Policy accessible to customers before or during the purchase process.
Where applicable law requires particular return limitations to be prominently disclosed, MarketCG will seek to provide the required disclosure.
For example, California Civil Code §1723 addresses conspicuous disclosure of certain retailer refund policies and requires qualifying disclosures to identify matters such as the applicable timeframe, merchandise covered, and relevant conditions.
Product-specific conditions, including a Final Sale designation, may also be displayed directly on the applicable product page or during checkout.
53. Changes to This Policy
MarketCG may revise this Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:
- our products;
- fulfillment operations;
- shipping arrangements;
- return procedures;
- payment services;
- fraud-prevention practices;
- legal or regulatory requirements.
The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version presented or available when the customer submitted the order, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
The current version will be available at marketcg.com.
